Snake River Sporting Club represents a transporting, transcendent threshold into an oasis bordered only by river and wilderness. Intended for the enjoyment of its members, their families, and guests, perspective and pace feel different here: more essential and elemental. Our goal? To create an authentic Jackson Hole experience in a private club setting and deliver the height of Western hospitality. At nearly 1,000 acres, including a fully functioning ranch, the Snake River Sporting Club hosts amenities unlike any other. Curated activities and excursions accumulate into a close kinship with place. Even more than that, this land inspires attunement to nature and a sense of real peace. Welcome.

The Last of the West
The history of this stretch of the Snake River is in many ways the history of the West. First traversed by Native American tribes who hunted its plentiful wildlife during the summer months, the area eventually drew mountain men to trap along its shores. By 1900, the first bachelor homesteader had laid claim to the land on which the Club now sits—The Lamb’s original cabin still stands near hole 3. A working ranch for decades after that, members are now discovering this slice of the Old West—its riding trails, gentle pastures, granite mountains, and the river that started it all.
Wild play
Embrace the magic of winter as you glide through snow-covered meadows on cross-country skis, embark on a whimsical sleigh ride, or twirl across the ice under a canopy of stars. For the adventurous spirit, explore the untouched wilderness on electric Moonbikes, leaving only a whisper in your wake.
A Private Western Resort
We like to think that our members at Snake River Sporting Club are those who prefer to forge their own path—in life, in the woods, and into the exceptional lifestyle we offer right here in the Old West. Different tiers of membership suit all levels: occasional visitors, second homeowners, locals looking for a home-away- from-home, and more. Joining the Club means all of this is at your fingertips: the private fishing access, ever-bedeviling Tom Weiskopf golf course, and the feeling of discovery that pervades from the moment you cross over our red trestle bridge and encounter what lies beyond.
